How I Work With You

How I work with you depends naturally on the reason you are consulting me.

If you are a doctor, family member or you are a patient who is actively exploring a variety of approaches for treatment of your condition I have a number of roles to offer you.

As a doctor you require concise information about the treatment offered and so I have a number of resources which I have created for you to use. Please make direct contact with me so that we may discuss in more detail. After our discussion I will then email to you the correct information.

As a patient, family member or friend of someone who may benefit from advanced medical treatment currently not available in their country there are a number of initial resources I offer under the following headings for you to explore.

If you have recently undergone or currently going through life transitions which can include bereavement, chronic illness the ending of a relationship or simply wishing to review your life to date in order to plan for the next stage(s) of your life then I offer one to one sessions.

You can read more about how I work with you and what I offer by visiting and read about, listen to recordings which relate to my writing, seminars and workshops.

On the remainder of this page are details of each of the consultancy services I offer.

Group Development

You may work in a hospital which is listed for international patients and require training on some of the common factors which either doctors or patients from abroad need to know as well as deal with some of the common emotional elements which are active for everyone in making the decision to travel for treatment.

My background is originally in healthcare where I began in the role as clinician, manager and university lecturer. I qualified in psychology and trained in counselling and psychotherapy before then leaving the NHS in 1988 to establish my private practice and consultancy service.
